My parents met at jewelry store in the 80s called Latin Gold. Years later, this would inspire me to open a record store.

Hi! I'm Kadrian, the founder of Latin Gold Records, born and raised in Los Angeles and the proud son of Cuban and Salvadoran immigrants. While working at Latin Gold in Downtown Los Angeles, my parents bonded over their mutual love of Latin music.

After my dad passed away, I inherited their record collection. When I got it, it felt like finding family treasure, family history. It was the moment that ignited my passion for vinyl records and the record community.

Years later, it felt natural that my venture into record selling would carry the same name.

Latin Gold Records is an online record store and Los Angeles-based pop-up that specializes in Latin music - salsa, boogaloo, latin jazz, cumbia. But I also carry everything that catches my ear - from funk to punk, rock to jazz, world to weird, and all the notes in-between.

I personally handpick, clean, grade, photograph, and test every record before it goes on sale so that you know exactly what you’re purchasing.

When you buy from Latin Gold Records, I don’t want you to just get the vinyl. I want you to get the story behind it, too. 

Currently, I live in Los Angeles with my wife, daughter, two cats, and record collection.
