Every record collection has an origin story. Like many others, I inherited my parents’ collection, which consisted mostly of Latin music. My parents met each other in the 80s when they both worked at a jewelry company in Downtown Los Angeles called Latin Gold, and I like to believe that my passion for music was born out of this moment. It felt natural then that by extension, my venture into record selling would be called Latin Gold Records.

Latin Gold Records sells vinyl records at accessible prices and specializes in Latin music, all with the goal to share and celebrate diverse music from around the world while adding value to an oversaturated and static record market for a unique experience.

That’s what record collecting should be: not a transaction you make, but an experience you love.
